The fischer sliding element has a maximum sliding distance of 100 mm for the absorption of axial length adjustments to pipelines. The large sliding distance of the sliding element allows for the absorption of large expansions. The holes in the sliding saddle allow for use as a single or double sliding element. The bend in the four fishplates in the base plate effectively prevents sliding out.
